Everything from this module comes together here — your first real deliverable in this course.
You now have everything you need to choose a niche properly: the six factors that separate a strong niche from a weak one, a repeatable process for generating ideas, how to use AI to speed up research without replacing your judgment, and how to size up existing competition across five real sources. This lesson is about actually doing it.
Open the Affiliate Niche Checklist in the free Affiliate Marketing Starter Kit (page 1) — the same checklist referenced throughout this module. Pick your top 2–3 niche candidates from Lesson 7's process, and work through the full checklist for each one honestly, not just the parts that confirm what you already wanted to pick.
If more than one niche passes the checklist reasonably well, the tiebreaker is usually genuine interest and existing knowledge — the niche you can sustain content production on for a year, not just the one that scores marginally higher on paper. A niche you'll actually keep working on consistently will outperform a "perfect on paper" niche you abandon after six weeks.
Once you've chosen, resist the urge to keep researching indefinitely — at some point, the returns on more niche research are lower than the returns on actually starting to build. If your chosen niche reasonably passes the checklist, that's enough signal to move forward. The next stage — building an affiliate program portfolio, setting up your site, and publishing your first content — is where the full Academy picks up.
