Zooming out — the complete system, start to finish, and how the rest of this course maps to each stage.
You now know how affiliate marketing works mechanically, how the money actually flows, the different commission models, and the myths that trip people up early. This lesson puts it all together into a single system — the same roadmap the rest of this course follows.
Choose a topic with genuine interest, demand, and commercial depth behind it — covered starting next lesson.
A simple, functional home for your content — not expensive, not complicated to start.
The actual guides, reviews, and comparisons that bring in and convert readers.
Getting real people to actually find that content — SEO, social, email, and more.
Turning readers into people who actually click your affiliate link.
Turning clicks into completed purchases on the merchant's site.
The result of everything above working together — not the starting point.
Repeating and expanding what's actually working, once you have real signal on what that is.
Notice that "commission" sits near the end, not the beginning. A common mistake is obsessing over which program pays the highest rate before any of the earlier steps — niche, website, content, traffic — are actually in place. The commission rate genuinely matters, but it's the last domino in a chain of seven other things that have to happen first. This course, and this roadmap, are both structured in the order that actually produces results — not the order that feels most exciting to think about.
Module 2, starting with the next lesson, covers step one of this roadmap in depth: choosing a niche. This is arguably the single highest-leverage decision in the entire process — get it right, and every step afterward gets easier. Get it wrong, and you'll likely feel it months later, once you're deep into content that has nowhere commercially useful to go.
